Load Survey / Research
In order to study the electricity usage pattern of the electricity consumers of BEST a major load research project was undertaken along with M/s IMaCS a subsidiary of ICRA management consultants. Load research enables to understand the consumers electricity usage pattern to enable targeting effective segments for energy conservation and peak shifting measures. BEST envisages taking up load research on a sustained basis getting continuous input from consumers about their connected load and usage pattern.
 

Energy auditing
Energy audit of water pumps installed in 8 Multi-storied Buildings was conducted by National Productivity Council in order to establish the need for using energy efficient pumps and effective saving in power cost and energy.
 

Pilot DSM Programs

• Replacement of conventional FTLs by T5 FTLs

• Replacement of conventional ceiling fans by star labelled fans

• Replacement of conventional bulbs by 7 watts LED bulbs

MERC approved DSM Pilot Programs :- Lighting  /  HVAC.


DSM Projects (In progress)
The following DSM Plans for next 5 year is prepared by BEST on the basis of slab-wise consumer data and considering population of various equipment’s such as Bulbs, FTLs, Ceiling fans, Window AC units.
